May 26th Jesmond Dene Handicap Race 7.30 from Armstrong Bridge, You need to enter at the Peoples Theatre by 6.45 The races are all 5488 metres ( "approximately") and are on paths in the Dene and the parks

June 9th  Blaydon Race 

June 18th Newburn River Run 7.30   Newburn Sports Centre 6.5 miles off road.  Free supper afterwards

2nd July Tynedale Harriers, 10k Road Race  from Ovingham  

10th July Angel View Run 7.15  from Angel View Hotel , Gateshead 5 miles over tracks and undulating cross country

13 July  Kilburn Feast Road Race, 7 Miles. Passes White Horse. Afternoon tea for all finishers
